Yuzen calls itself a bit of zen in every box which is fitting because it has become one of my favorite days. I think it’s the combination of relaxing products, chocolate and the surprise of which great brands they partnered with this month. Yuzen is switching from being a monthly box to a quarterly box. While I will really miss it, I can understand needing more time to organize such an elaborate production.
The box is $26/quarter and the presentation is lovely. It’s chock full of large sample sizes as well as full size products so you can really try the products out.
Here’s what I got:
ACURE Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo/Conditioner - This is one of my favorite shampoo/conditioners ever. It smells like heaven (ie almond) and is all natural and inexpensive.
Pangea Organics – Italian Red Mandarin with Rose Discovery Cream - Pangea products are all quite good. This one smells and feels awesome.
Shea Terra Organics Argan Oil – OK So I have already confessed to a full-blown Shea Terra obsession. I love all their products (the chocolate body scrub is just wonderful). Their argan oil feels light and soft and sinks right in.
Amorafloria Stress Less Foaming Bubble Bath – This is a full size product that I actually really need. Now if only I can get my kids to give me time to take a bath.
Essence of Vali - Sleep. I’ve used this before and it is very calming. It’s heavy on the lavender which I love.
Sweet Riot Cacao Nibs - Yum. I love how Yuzen always throws in some chocolate to their boxes. Bath/beauty + chocolate = happy.
Tilvee Lavender/Lemon Hydrating balm - Full sized lip balm. Feels lovely!
Gaiam TV.com - A trial of their online service. They produced a movie I love called I Am so I’m looking forward to checking it out.

I just got my box today and I’m super excited! This box makes me want to hop in the shower. I’m also sad that it won’t be coming as frequently, but I definitely understand how that can be more effective. Now I have time to really enjoy all those full-size products they’re sending.
I know–It was great wasn’t it? I’m sad it will be less often but it’s such a great selection–it will be worth the wait!
